Subscribe to the Annals of Crom

The following details how to subscribe to the Annals of Crom. In doing so these articles will automatically appear, as they are added, on your desktop via a feed reader or in your RSS feeds folder of Outlook (just in case you are sitting at work wondering how to get from 3pm to 5pm when you can quietly slip out the door.)

1. On the menu down the left hand side of the Riddle of Steel web site is a button for the Annals of Crom, this is the Guild newsletter. Select that menu.
2. This will present the web version of Annals of Crom and to the right, you will see a button allowing you to subscribe. Click Subscribe.
3. The following page will be presented.
4. Click Subscribe to this feed and the following will be presented.
   
5. Ensure it is saving to the 'Feeds' folder and click subscribe.
6. Through internet explorer or which ever browser you use look at the bookmarks, go to the feeds and remove all the rubbish out of there, its probably all from Microsoft.You can right click and delete.
7. These feeds will now automatically appear in Outlook or other feed readers, however if you have not got one the following shows you how to set up the delivered one with Windows Vista.
8. On windows Vista there is a side bar function that comes standard where you can add Gadgets. Right click on the side bar and select Add Gadget.
   
9. This will open up a list of gadgets, select the feed reader.
   
10. When the feed reader appears it should be automatically populated with the Annals of Crom feeds and any other rubbish that has been loaded onto your screen. If you need to adjust the feeds being presented, mouse over the feed reader until the little spanner appears, as shown in the image below and click it to adjust which feeds to present. (Obviously Amex shares needs to go)
